The ‘Raabta’ actor, was considered as one of the brightest stars of this younger generation. Several tinsel town celebs including Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Vicky Kaushal expressed grief over his death on social media. The ‘Kai Po Che’ actor’s fans have flooded Twitter and Instagram with his throwback videos and pictures. Sushant’s good friend Sandip Ssingh has shared an emotional post for the late actor and his former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. The producer, who supported Sushant’s family since the past few days, poured his heart out on Instagram. He dedicated his post to Ankita and hoped that he never loses a ‘friend like her’. Sandeep Singh also said that Ankita prayed for Sushant’s happiness even after the two parted ways in 2016. “Dear Ankita, with each passing day, one thought keeps haunting me over and over again. Kaash... I wish... We could have tried even harder, we could've stopped him, we could've begged him! Even when you both seperated, you only prayed for his happiness and success... Your love was pure. It was special. You still haven't removed his name from the nameplate of your house. I miss those days, when the three of us stayed together in lokhandwala as a family, we shared so many moments which bring tears to my heart today...cooking together, eating together, ac ka paani girna, our special Mutton bhaat, our long drives to uttan, lonavala or Goa! Our crazy holi! Those laughs we shared, those sensitive low phases of life when we were there for each other, you more than anyone. The things you did to bring a smile on Sushant's face," the post read. Sandip had accompanied Ankita when she visited his parents at Sushant’s residence in Mumbai. The ‘Manikarnika’ actress looked devastated and could barely walk without support. Sandip, who shared a good bond with Sushant and Ankita, posted the throwback picture from Holi on Instagram. The ‘Chhichhore’ actor’s father and sisters immersed his ashes in river Ganga at Patna’ NIT ghat on June 18.
