New Delhi: In a major development in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the late actor’s father KK Singh lodged a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and five other people at Rajiv Nagar Police station in Patna. Singh registered the FIR against Rhea under sections 341, 342, 380, 406, 420, 306, 506 and 120B of the IPC. A four-member team from Bihar Police arrived in Mumbai to quiz the ‘Jalebi’ actress in connection with Sushant’s case.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s cousin Neeraj Kumar Singh, while talking to a news channel, said that the late actor’s family wants Rhea Chakraborty to get arrested. He further said that Mumbai Police should support Bihar Police in the case’s investigation.

The ‘Raabta’ actor’s father, in his six-page long FIR, accused Rhea Chakraborty of threatening his son and using him for ‘financial gains’. He alleged that the ‘Chehre’ actress withdrew money from his accounts in the pretext of love and kept him away from his family. He also said that Rhea threatened to reveal Sushant’s medical reports to the media.

KK Singh further mentioned in his FIR that Rhea gave Sushant an overdose of medicines and replaced his staff with the people she knew.

Sushant’s US-based sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a post on social media in which she demanded justice for her brother. She posted a picture from the ‘Chhichhore’ actor’s prayer meet on Instagram. She wrote, "If truth doesn't matter, nothing ever will #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput."



Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging from the ceiling of his room at his residence in Bandra on June 14. His untimely demise sent shockwaves across the film industry. Fans have been demanding for a CBI investigation in the ‘Kai Po Che’ actor’s case.

Mumbai Police officers, who are investigating Sushant’s case, have recorded the statement of atleast 38 people including Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt, Rhea Chakraborty, Mukesh Chhabra, Sanjana Sanghi. Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta recorded his statement at Jogeshwari Police station on July 28.
