What Rhea Chakraborty Said In Her Affidavit?
Chakraborty, who has been accused of abetting Sushant's suicide, filed the affidavit through her lawyer Satish Maneshinde. According to the report in the news agency, she alleged that the 'fabricated' medical prescription was used to buy medicines that are banned under the NDPS Act.
In her affidavit, Rhea also stated that Sushant died five days after he received the medical prescription and it needs to be investigated if he consumed the prescribed medicines or not.
The Bandra police had registered the FIR against Sushant's sisters and Dr Tarun Kumar, who signed the medical prescription. Earlier this month, Priyanka and Meetu filed a petition in the HC to squash the case against them.
The Bombay High Court granted bail to Rhea Chakraborty on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh in drugs case related to Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The Narcotics Control Bureau, which is investigating the drugs angle in the 'Dil Bechara' actor's case, had arrested Chakraborty and her brother Showik under various sections of the NDPS Act last month.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Showik Chakraborty’s judicial custody has been extended till November 3. He was arrested by the NCB after several hours of questioning in connection with the case.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. His untimely demise left his family members, friends and fans in a state of shock. Three Central agencies including the CBI, the ED and the NCB are probing the high-profile case.
