Kangana Ranaut Takes Dig At Deepika Padukone For Her 'Repeat After Me' Depression Posts

In the wake of Sushant Singh Rajput's death who allegedly ended his life after falling prey to 'depression', Deepika Padukone run an online campaign and posted a series of Tweets to talk about depression and mental health.

New Delhi: While hailing Supreme Court’s verdict of transferring Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for investigation, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took a dig at Deepika Padukone for allegedly 'running a business in the name of depression.' Everybody is aware of the fact that Deepika Padukone suffered from ‘depression’ and after overcoming her mental illness, the actress has been quite vocal while sharing her battle with the disease and how she came out victorious, in many of her interactions with media. In the wake of Sushant Singh Rajput's death who allegedly ended his life after falling prey to 'depression', the 'Chennai Express' actress even ran an online campaign and posted a series of Tweets to talk about depression and mental health. In one of the posts, Padukone wrote: Repeat after me: Depression is an illness like any other illness such as Cancer and Diabetes. While many stood by the actress, the ‘Queen’ star Kangana took a dig at her Deepika. In her latest tweet today, the 'Manikarnika' actress said: Repeat after me, depression ka dhandha chalane walon ko public ne unki aukat dikhadi #CBIforShushant #SushantSingRajput #1stStepToSSRJustice. Kangana posted a note which read: "They tried to dismiss him as an alcoholic, drug addict, rapist, and a mentally ill person. But look today because of collective consciousness, he has risen to Godly status in India and everywhere else." Earlier today, the Supreme Court bench led by single judge Justice Hrishikesh Roy in its verdict announced that CBI will investigate actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. The top court ordered for a CBI investigation in the actor's death case under Article 142. While hearing actor Rhea Chakraborty's petition seeking transfer of investigation from Patna to Mumbai, Justice Roy observed that the Bihar government is competent enough to transfer case to CBI for investigation. The court also asked Maharashtra to hand over all the evidence in the case to CBI and assist the probe.
