It has been more than one month since actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra. Since then, Mumbai Police has been interrogating people related to the actor both personally and professionally including filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aditya Chopra. Most recently, the film critic Rajeev Masand was also called in for interrogation by the police. Now, reportedly, the Mumbai Police will be issuing fresh summons to actress Kangana Ranaut to record her statement in the case.

The ‘Manikarnika’ actress has been putting up videos about ‘nepotism’ in Bollywood and calling out Bollywood bigwigs since the ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor’s death. She claimed in her interview with a leading news channel and took a dig at Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt for being instrumental in destroying the actor’s career.
According to a report of India Today, the ‘Queen’ actress will receive fresh summons from Mumbai Police to record her statement in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. However, there is no confirmation yet as to when the actress will receive the summon from the Mumbai Police. The report adds that the Mumbai Police has been trying to reach out to the actress from July 3. The ‘Panga’ actress is up for recording her statement in the case whenever she is called up by the police.

Kangana has also called out Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker as ‘needy outsiders’ who will support Bollywood biggies like Karan Johar in this fight of ‘nepotism’ in her recent interview. Since then, a social media war has commenced between them. Anurag Kashyap has also revealed some facts about the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress claiming that she used to abuse her directors and cut out roles of her co-actors from the movie.
The actress has also participated in the digital protest for Sushant which was being initiated by the advocate Ishkaran Singh Bhandari with the hashtag #Candle4SSR.
