A day after arriving from Delhi, the CBI team in Mumbai quizzed late actor's cook Neeraj and house manager Samuel Miranda.

Meanwhile, news agency IANS reported that the federal team also collected the Sushant's diary, laptop and mobile phone among other crucial documents. If the reports are to be believed, the investigating agency is now set off to collect the close circuit television camera (CCTV) footage from the Bandra flat where 'Dil Bechara' actor was found dead on June 14.

The report mentioned that CBI will examine the ‘CCTV tampering’ angle or if there were any technical glitches. The central probing team might also communicate with the company which installed the CCTV cameras and the company which carried out the maintenance of the CCTV cameras in order to know who all were active around Sushant's building.

Sushant Singh Rajput was allegedly found hanging in his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020. While his post-mortem report stated he had committed suicide, the case is being investigated by CBI.

After since his death, his family members, friends and fans had been demanding a detailed probe. After a massive movement led across world, the Supreme Court earlier this week asked Maharashtra to hand over all the evidence in the case to CBI and assist the probe.

The top court bench led by single judge Justice Hrishikesh Roy in its verdict observed that the Bihar government is competent enough to transfer case to CBI for investigation.
