Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation has started its investigation into the death of the ‘Chhichhore’ actor from Friday (August 21), after the Supreme Court dismissed Rhea Chakraborty’s plea and ordered a CBI probe into the matter.

Sushant’s case took a new turn when his father KK Singh lodged an FIR against Rhea, her family members and others under various sections of the IPC including abetment to suicide. The complaint was registered at Patna’s Rajiv Nagar Police station.

In his six-page FIR, KK Singh accused Rhea of threatening his son and keeping him away from his family. He also alleged that Rs 15 crores were transferred from Sushant’s bank account to other accounts, which were not related to the ‘Raabta’ actor.

Rhea Chakraborty had moved the SC, seeking transfer of the case registered against her in Patna to Mumbai.
