An FIR was lodged against Rhea Chakraborty under various sections of the IPC including abetment of suicide on complaint of 'Raabta' actor's father. KK Singh accused Rhea of using his son for financial gains and extorting money from him in the pretext of love. He alleged that the actress took cash, laptops, credit card, its pin number, important documents and Sushant's medical reports when she moved out from the 'Kai Po Che' actor's place on June 8, 2020.

Sushant's father in his six-page long FIR alleged that Rs 15 crore were transferred from Sushant's account to other accounts which were not related to the actor in 2019.

A four-member team from Bihar Police has reached Patna to question the 'Jalebi' actress in connection with the case.

Rhea had earlier urged Home Minister Amit Shah to initiate a CBI probe into Sushant's case. She addressed the 'Kai Po Che' actor as her boyfriend for the first time and requested a CBI investigation to 'understand what pressures promopted him to take the step'.
