New Delhi: Amid probing the drug angle in Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday raided several places in Mumbai and Delhi. According to the reports, the federal anti-narcotics agency during the raid detained an alleged contraband dealer, who is understood to be involved in the supply of drugs in the high-end party circles of Mumbai.

An official told news agency PTI that the unidentified man has alleged links in the drugs trafficking case pertaining to the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Today's development has come after two drug peddlers were arrested in Mumbai three days ago for alleged drug trafficking in the western metropolis. As per the IANS report, the arrested duo includes F. Ahmed, from Calangute, Goa, who works as a driver in a prominent resort, while the Bengaluru-based customer is linked with Page 3 celebs.

It is to be noted that Enforcement Directorate, along with CBI and NCB, is striving hard to unravel the drugs mafia's connections in the death case of the 34-year-old actor. The agency after cloning two mobile phones of Rhea had shared a report with NCB following which, the narcotic agency filed a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).

Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden demise has left the entire country in shock. The actor was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14. While many claim that the 'Dil Bechara' actor was undergoing depression and hung himself to death, his family and relatives have accused actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty of brewing a conspiracy against SSR.

Amid the several speculation, CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has got into action and has started probing the mysterious death case of Sushant. Meanwhile Enforcement Directorate is questioning suspects in money laundering case and NCB on the other hand in trying to bust the drug angle in the ongoing matter.
