Sushant Singh Rajput’s father lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty last month at the Patna Police Station in the abetment of his son’s suicide and money laundering case. While earlier, the case was being investigated by the Mumbai Police but a few days back, the Supreme Court said that the case will be handled by the CBI. Several revelations have emerged in late actor’s case after the CBI took over the investigation.

According to the latest update, the ‘Chhichhore’ actor’s Mumbai based sister Meetu Singh has now been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for questioning. She was the only family member present at the scene and she also stayed with SSR from June 8 to June 12.

Also, the revelation of the ‘drug angle’ in this case has shocked many. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is now probing this angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case and hinted at not collecting blood and nail samples of his girlfriend and prime accused Rhea Chakraborty instead identifying peddlers, who provided drugs to them on regular intervals would be the bigger focus of their probe.

Rhea Chakraborty is being interrogated for the third time by the CBI on August 30. Based on sources, Nupur Prasad, the officer leading the team of CBI in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput has recorded the statement of the ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ actress. Other than Rhea, her brother Showik Chakraborty, and SSR’s cook Neeraj and flatmate Siddharth Pithani were also being summoned by the CBI. Rhea and her brother were being questioned separately for checking inconsistencies in their versions.
