Sushant Singh Rajput Death: SSR's death case has taken another political turn as Maharashtra State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh he will call for an investigation into the allegations against filmmaker Sandip Ssingh who is one of the prime accused in Sushant death case, best known for producing a biopic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the 2019 national elections, saying that he had received a lot of complaints about him.

The Maharashtra government has been facing accusations from the BJP that it had "overlooked" charges of drug use surrounding actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death to protect those close to the state's ruling parties

"I have received many requests today and yesterday to investigate that Sandeep Singh who had made Film Namo on PM Modi in 27 different languages enquiring about what relation he has with BJP, Bollywood, and drugs.  I am sending these complaints to CBI which is investigating this case right now," Deshmukh said while speaking to reporters as quoted by ANI.


Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was questioned for 7 hours by CBI on the second day of investigation and has been summoned again for further questioning.

According to sources, the CBI team is not satisfied with Rhea's answers.
