New Delhi: Ever since Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly board on June 14, his fans have been actively demanding for a CBI probe into the matter. His family members, friends, politicians and several celebrities have now come forward to demand a CBI investigation in the late actor's case.

While the Supreme Court is yet to give its judgement for CBI probe into the case, several B-town celebrities have stepped forward requesting a CBI investigation as they feel that the family of the 'Dil Bechara' actor deserves to know the truth.

In fact, #CBIforSSR has recently become a massive online campaign on social media, which has been supported by Kangana Ranaut, Ankita Lokhande, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan and many more. The latest one to join the campaign is Anupam Kher.

Marking the two-month death anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput, the veteran actor has come out strong demanding much-required closure in the actor’s death case.

Taking to his Twitter account earlier today, senior actor Anupam Kher said, "As a fellow actor and as a member of the film industry or just as an ordinary citizen of this country I feel it is important that #SushantSinghRajput’s death gets a proper closure. We owe that much to his family, friends & fans. So #CBIforSSR is an important campaign."

Earlier today, Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a picture on the 2 month death anniversary of her loving brother and requested everyone to join for a Global 24-hour spiritual and prayer observation for the justice of SSR on August 15 at 10:00 AM. Ankita Lokhande also joined the league and demanded justice for her ‘Pavitra Rishta’ co-actor.
