New Delhi: The CBI questioned Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty for the third consecutive day in connection with her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The agency officials grilled the ‘Jalebi’ actress for over eight hours on Sunday (August 30) on issues like mention of drugs in her WhatsApp charts and Sushant’s medical treatment. She reportedly reached DRDO guest house for interrogation around 10:30am. She was accompanied by her brother Showik Chakraborty.

According to ABP News’ sources, the CBI questioned Rhea about Sushant’s credit cards and the expenses incurred on his medical treatment. Chakraborty was apparently miffed when asked about drugs. The source added that the ‘Chehre’ actress argued with Nupur Prasad, who is leading the probe.

When asked if she spent Sushant’s money, Rhea told the agency that the ‘Raabta’ actor himself used to spend money on her. The officials asked her why she asked Sushant’s debit card PIN number from Samuel Miranda if the actor spent money on her. Rhea remained silent when questioned about it.

The CBI team started its investigation after the Supreme Court gave the nod for a probe by the agency in Sushant's death case. The agency officials have visited Mumbai's Cooper Hospital, SSR's Bandra flat and Waterstone resort twice as part of the probe. They have also collected all the documents related to the case from the Mumbai Police.

Sushant Singh Rajput's case took a new turn when his father KK Singh lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, her family members and others under various sections of the IPC at Rajiv Nagar Police station, Patna.
