Sunny Deol Shares Look As Tara Singh From 'Gadar 2' As He Announces Schedule Wrap Of Film

Sunny Deol shared a post on social media to announce the schedule wrap up of 'Gadar 2'. Here's what he posted!

New Delhi: Sunny Deol starrer 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', which released in 2001, created ripples at the box office. The action drama managed to set the cash registers jingling, emerging as one of the biggest hits of the year. Sunny and Anil Sharma announced the sequel of 'Gadar' on film's 20th anniversary, leaving the fans excited. 

On Thursday (December 23), Sunny Deol took to social media to share the first look of Tara Singh from 'Gadar 2'. He also announced that the cast and crew have wrapped up the shoot for the first schedule of the flick. The makers have filmed important sequences in the picturesque mountains of Himachal Pradesh.

The 'Damini' actor posted an emotional note while sharing his first look on Instagram. He said that only 'fortunate' people get to bring 'amazing characters' back to life. 

 “Only a fortunate few get to bring amazing characters back to life. Presenting Tara Singh 20 years later! Wrapped the first schedule of #Gadar2. Feeling blessed," Deol wrote. The photo shows Sunny as Tara Singh, looking majestic with kindness in his eyes. 

Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages. One user requested Deol to recreate the iconic songs from the first installment. She wrote, "Plz re create ud jaa kaale kawan and main nikla gaddi leke."

Sunny had unveiled a dramatic motion poster to officially announce the film, which is expected to be an intense drama. On the occasion of Dusshera 2021, he shared the motion poster along with the caption, "After two decades the wait is finally over! On the auspicious day of Dusshera, Presenting to you the motion poster of #Gadar2. The Katha Continues."

'Gadar 2' is being directed by Anil Sharma. The highly-anticipated flick is slated to hit the silver screens next year. Ameesha Patel, who was seen as Sakina, will reprise her role in the sequel.
