‘Stree 2’ earned Rs 8 crore at its special opening premieres on Wednesday, according to the website. With an expected opening day gross of Rs 46 crore, the total earnings of the film so far has come to an estimated Rs 54.25 crore. As a result, it surpasses ‘Fighter’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ (Hindi) to become the highest grossing first day of 2024.
Given that it took ‘Stree’ six days to earn Rs 54.88 Cr net in India, these amounts represent record openings. On its first day of release in Hindi, the movie's occupancy rate was 75.09%.
