New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan took to Instagram and Twitter to announce that he will make a contribution to the PM-CARES Fund and Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund to support the government in the fight against Coronavirus. King Khan also announced several other initiatives to support the efforts of PM Narendra Modi and the Central government.


SRK said that he will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits to healthcare workers and meals to underprivileged people and daily wage earners.

“In these times it’s imp to make everyone around u working tirelessly for u.. not related to u.. perhaps even unknown to u... to feel they are not alone and by themselves. Let’s just make sure we all do our little bit to look after each other. India and all Indians are One Family. Stay Safe Stay Healthy and don’t forget to pray,” the ‘Zero’ actor wrote on Instagram.



The hashtag #SRKDonatesForCOVID trended on Twitter after the ‘Chennai Express’ actor made the announcement. Fans lauded SRK for his contribution in the fight against the deadly virus.

Another fan praised Shah Rukh Khan for his comprehensive plan at the times of crisis. He tweeted, "Do it like SRK...
