New York: Singer Mariah Carey's sister has been arrested for soliciting money in exchange for sexual favours. The 46-year-old's sibling was detained in Saugerties here by an undercover officer who posed as a man paying for sex, reports dailymail.co.uk. Mariah Carey Alison Carey, a former drug addict, was diagnosed with HIV in the 1990s. Alison Carey was arrested in New York on Sunday on the charges of prostitution Alison was arrested after she advertised her services online and used lyrics from Carey's hits to lure customers.  "I'm a pretty lady looking for guys who are looking to have some fun and get into a world of pleasure that other woman just can't provide you," read an ad from Alison. It included lyrics from Carey's 1995 hit "Fantasy": "But it's just a sweet sweet fantasy baby, when I close my eyes, you come and you take me, it's so deep in my daydreams, but it's just a sweet, sweet fantasy baby." Alison is locked up in Ulster County Jail and is due in court on Tuesday, with her bail set at $1,000. Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra has advised anyone who has been in contact with her to seek medical advice, "particularly if it was unprotected". IANS
