Film-maker Nagraj Manjule, who became talk of the town following the phenomenal success of his Marathi film 'Sairat,' recently came under negative light with his former wife Sunita's shocking revelations. While the director has branded himself as a socially-sensitive person in several interviews, his former wife has a different story to tell, reports Quint. In an interview, while describing a marital life filled with strife, abuse, and most of all, neglect and abandonment, she claimed that the director's family once locked up her up in a room when they were going to New Delhi. For the uninitiated, Nagraj is one of the most respected names in the Marathi film industry and his 'Sairat' became the first Marathi film to cross the Rs 65 crore mark at the ticket window.
