Shabana Azmi Returns Home From Hospital, Shares FIRST PIC After Accident

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi thanked her fans for their prayers and wishes after getting discharged from the hospital.

New Delhi: Veteran actress Shabana Azmi, who met with a road accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, has been discharged from Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The ‘Neerja’ suffered an injury after her car rammed into a truck on Khalapur toll-plaza. She was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital for medical treatment and later shifted to Kolikaben hospital. After being admitted for nearly 13 days, Shabana Azmi got discharged on Friday (January 31). The ‘Masoom’ took To Twitter to thank her fans for their wishes and the hospital for the medical care. Shabana shared her first picture after the accident on the micro-blogging site. She tweeted, “Thank you all for your prayers and wishes for my recovery. Im back home now Thank you #Tina Ambani and Kokilaben Ambani hospital for the sterling care provided by the doctors team and the nursing staff. Im indebted and grateful.” Several Bollywood celebrities including Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor met the actress while she was admitted at the hospital. We wish Shabana Azmi a speedy recovery.
