Section 375: Richa Chadha & Akshaye Khanna start shooting for the film!

Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha play lawyers in this drama fighting on opposite sides of the case.

T-Series and Panorama Studios come together after ‘Raid’ to produce their next, a courtroom drama, titled Section 375. The film that went on floors today in Mumbai stars Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha in the lead roles along with Rahul Bhat who plays an important role. The film is directed by Ajay Bahl who last directed B.A.Pass in 2012. As the title suggest, the film will speak about the particular section as defined in the Indian Penal Code. Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha play lawyers in this drama fighting on opposite sides of the case. Actress Richa Chadha says she is excited to play a lawyer on screen for the first time. "I am excited to play a lawyer on screen for the first time. Everyone I am working with on this project, I have been a fan of," Richa said in a statement. The first leg of the schedule will be shot in Mumbai. Talking about her co-star Akshaye, she told IANS : "I love Akshaye Khanna as an actor and his last few outings have been amazing. I am happy to collaborate with director Ajay Behl too. I loved how nuanced 'B.A. Pass' was... This is a great start to 2019 and I feel blessed to take on this firebrand character". The film "Section 375" highlights how a critical law meant for the safety of women can be misused.
