Sara Ali Khan Gets Trolled For Her ‘All Lives Matter’ Post, Deletes It After Facing Backlash By Fans

Sara Ali Khan deleted her 'All Lives Matter' post on Instagram after she received backlash from the fans on Instagram.

New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, shared a post on Instagram in solidarity with George Floyd’s death. The hashtag #AllLivesMatter and the picture of three arms from different races and one elephant trunk are going viral on social media. Sara also posted the same photo on her official Instagram handle, condemning the death of African-American George Flyod’s in the US and the brutal killing of a pregnant elephant in Kerala. However, her post didn’t go down well with her fans and the ‘Simmba’ actress faced backlash for the same. Sara deleted the #AllLivesMatter post within an hour of sharing it on Instagram. Although, the star kid deleted the photo, she got heavily trolled on Twitter and fans took screenshots of her post and slammed her. A Twitter user wrote, “Well.. what can you expect from a privileged person?? I thought Sara Ali khan was the sane one amongst these actor kids, but naah you proved me wrong.” He shared picture from Sara’s Filmfare’s photo-shoot, which received flak for being ‘racist’ and ‘tone deaf’.
Sara Ali Khan trended on Twitter as she got mercilessly trolled on the micro-blogging site.
Several fans also supported Sara and lashed out the people criticizing her for the post. "To all the people screaming but Sara Ali Khan graduated from Columbia an Ivy League School how could she do it. Are people studying in Columbia not humans? Can they not make mistakes? She realised her mistake and deleted it, isn't that enough? Can woke twitter get over it now?," one fan tweeted.
Another fan wrote, "To people going after Sara Ali Khan.. There was an elephant trunk in the pic She wanted to convey that every life matters. Even animal lives matter. Yes, the way black was striked out was not okay. But her point was evey life matters."
