New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with lung cancer last month and since then, his family and fans have been praying for his health and speedy recovery. Earlier, there were reports doing the rounds that the ‘Sadak 2’ actor will be flying to the US for his treatment but on August 18, he has been admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital for his cancer treatment.

While the family is undergoing this tough time, his wife Maanayata shared a cryptic post on her Instagram expressing how no words can explain what is going on in the mind and heart.

Her caption read, “Sometimes you just have to stay silent because no words can explain what is going on in your mind and heart #throwbackthursday #love #grace #positivity #dutts #riseandshine #challenging yet #beautifullife #thankyougod”



Also, thanking the ‘Agneepath’ actor’s fans for their love, support and prayers, his wife Maanayata Dutt released a statement and informed that Sanjay Dutt will be completing his preliminary treatment in Mumbai itself.

Her statement read, “For those asking, Sanju will complete his preliminary treatment in Mumbai. We will formulate further plans of travel depending on how and when the Covid situation eases. As of now, Sanju is in the best hands of our esteemed doctors at Kokilaben hospital. I request everyone, with my folded hands, to stop speculating the stage of his illness and let the doctors continue to do their work. We will update you all regularly with his progress.”

Last week, taking to her Instagram, she shared a beautiful picture of their children and wrote, “Sands are shifting.... God...protect your peace...answer your prayers #love #grace #positivity #dutts #ganpatibappamorya #beautifullife #thankyougod”



On the professional front, Sanjay Dutt was last seen in the movie ‘Sadak 2’ which released digitally on August 28. The actor will be next seen starring in ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’, ‘Torbaaz’, ‘Shamshera’, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ and ‘Prithviraj’.
