Amid Sandalwood Drug Racket Probe, Celebrity Couple Diganth Manchale & Aindrita Ray Summoned By CCB Tomorrow

Sandalwood Drugs Case: This comes after, a video of Aindrita Ray went viral on social media which showed her inviting people to Bally's Casino for a special Eid bash, which she was going to attend as a special guest.

Sandalwood Drug Racket: Two film industries in India are currently under the scanner of probe agencies after certain players in both the industries have been found involved in drug scandal. While actress Rhea Chakraborty, brother Showik Chakraborty and a line of peddlers have been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Bollywood, in the Kannada film industry or Sandalwood, the Central Crime Branch is actively probing the case. The CCB, Bengaluru today summoned the celebrity couple Aindrita Ray and Diganth Manchale to their office at 11 am tomorrow, possibly in connection the ongoing drug racket. The CCB has already questioned actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani. As per news agency ANI, "Notice has been issued to actors Diganth and Aindrita Ray to appear before Central Crime Branch (CCB) at 11 am tomorrow.” It quoted Sandeep Patil, Joint commissioner, CCB, Karnataka as saying so. This comes after, a video of Aindrita Ray went viral on social media which showed her inviting people to Bally's Casino for a special Eid bash, which she was going to attend as a special guest. She had later said that the video was being blown out of proportion as it was attended by several other actors on invite for marketing purposes. However, it is not yet confirm whether they were summoned in connection ongoing drug scandal or some other case. The drug racket in Sandalwood was exposed deceased journalist Gauri Lankesh's brother - Indrajit Lankesh alleged the involvement of certain actors in the drug scandal.
