New Delhi: Aayush Sharma starrer film 'Ruslaan' released in theatres on April 26. The high on action drama helmed by director Karan Lalit Butani amassed ₹60 lakh nett in India, according to a report from Sacnilk.com. 'Ruslaan' stars Aayush Sharma in the lead role alongside Sushrii Shreya Mishraa, Jagapathi Babu, and Vidya Malvade. The action-packed film saw a 6.42 percent occupancy across Hindi cinemas, with Chennai boasting the highest attendance at 16 percent.

The movie narrates the tale of Ruslaan's rebellion against conformity and also features Telugu star Jagapati Babu, who previously appeared in Salman's 2023 release, 'Kisi ka Bhai Kisi ki Jaan.'

The screening of Aayush Sharma starrer was a star-studded event with Salman Khan winning hearts on the red carpet for his cute gesture with Aayush's daughter and his niece Ayat. Salman Khan posed for the paps in blue jeans and a red shirt. He was also joined by Aayush, his sister Arpita Khan and their kids Ayat and Ahil. In a video shared on social media, Salman could be seen kissing Ayat on her head as she greeted her uncle. He also posed for pictures with the family. Arbaaz Khan also attended the film's screening along with other popular stars.

At the trailer launch of 'Ruslaan', Aayush Sharma had shared that the film was outside his comfort zone because it was not being produced under his brother-in-law's banner. Clarying the same stance, he told Bollywood Bubble that people think he is an outsider in the context that "I only want to work in the family, but I want to tell everyone that I am open to working with all. I am only starting now."


Aayush Sharma also shared that he is thinking about growing his avenues of income by singing and being part of music vidoes when he will be working over a film for a period of two years. Sharma also added that if people liked his stuff, 'well and good', if not, he still has the bathroom to sing.
