New Delhi: Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, is all set to release on July 24. A new song titled ‘Dhindhora Baje Re’ from the film was released on Monday. The track is sung by Darshan Raval and Bhoomi Trivedi, while the lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music of the song is given by Pritam.
Taking to Instagram, Karan Johar shared the song with the caption, “Upping the beat, upping the love with this one!❤️🥁 #DhindhoraBajeRe is yours now. #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani, in cinemas this Friday.Book your tickets now! (Link in bio).”
The grand set with red colour, number of background dancers, Durga Puja as backdrop – all this reminds of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s songs and sets. In the song Ranbir and Alia are seen dancing together to Jaya Bachchan’s dismay. The song also features Shabana Azmi.
Before this, the makers had released Tum Kya Mile, Ve Kamleya, and ‘What Jhumka?’
Earlier in the day, Ranveer Singh shared a video that featured a glimpse of the world of his character Rocky Randhawa and his lavish lifestyle.
Ranveer posted the video with the caption: "Monday Aa #MondayMotivashiun from Rocky Randhawa #RRKPK", with a muscle emoji.
The film marks Karan Johar’s return to direction after seven years. He had last directed 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Advance booking of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani
The advance booking of the film, which will release on July 28, is now open. Karan Johar announced the news on Instagram on Monday.

A Dharma Productions project, the film is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy.
