New Delhi: ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh and directed by Karan Johar, debuted to rave acclaim. The family-friendly film has been well-received by both audiences and reviewers and this has contributed to the film's successful box office performance. The box office take for RRKPK increased over the weekend after a promising opening day. The current total for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is around 60.22 crore in India.

It wouldn't be surprising if the movie made 100 crores by Sunday if it continues to perform well in its second weekend.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar's film crossed ₹100 crore gross worldwide on Tuesday. There's no doubt that the film's astounding ratings have won over the hearts of people everywhere. 

Compared to 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', Karan's last film, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', performed better in its first week at the box office.
