Ritu Nanda Prayer Meet VIDEOS: Big B Pays Tribute With An Emotional Speech; Jaya Bachchan & Others Get Emotional

Late actor Raj Kapoor’s elder daughter and Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s mother-in-law Ritu Nanda passed away on January 14 morning in Delhi.

New Delhi: Ritu Nanda, elder daughter of legendary actor Raj Kapoor is no more. Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor and Reema Jain's sister Ritu Nanda passed away early morning on January 14 in Delhi. 71-year-old Ritu Nanda was suffering from Cancer. Her last rites were performed in Delhi and various Bollywood celebs including Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan paid last respects to Ritu Nanda. A prayer meet was recently held in Delhi for Ritu Nanda which was attended by Kapoor family members as well as few other celebs.

In one of the videos, Amitabh Bachchan is seen playing tribute to late Ritu Nanda at her prayer meet with an emotional speech. Ritu Nanda's daughter-in-law Shweta Bachchan is seen getting emotional at the prayer meet as the rendition of 'Jeena Yahaan Marna Yahaan' was played at the prayer meet. Amitabh Bachchan & Jaya Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan is married to their son Nikhil Nanda. May her soul rest in peace!
