Rishi Kapoor's First Death Anniversary: Neetu Singh Shares Glimpse From Online Puja Held In Actor's Memory
Neetu Singh conducted an online puja for her late husband Rishi Kapoor, who passed away on April 30, 2020.
Neetu Singh and Ranbir Kapoor organised a puja on the occasion of Rishi Kapoor’s first death anniversary on Friday April 30). The mother-son duo didn’t invite the other Kapoor family members for the puja as a precautionary measure against COVID-19. Ranbir’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt also attended the virtual puja ceremony, which was held in Rishi’s memory at Neetu’s house in Mumbai. The two lovebirds arrived together to perform the rituals on Friday afternoon.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the other Kapoor clan members joined the puja virtually due to the COVID-19 crisis. Neetu conducted an online puja and didn’t invite others for the memorial ceremony keeping in mind the surge in Coronavirus cases in the country.
Earlier in the day, the 'Kabhie Kabhie' actresss shared a throwback picture with Rishi along with an emotional note. She said that her husband will stay in people's 'hearts forever'. "We have accepted life will never be the same without him !!! But life will go on," Singh wrote.
Rishi left his heavenly abode on April 30, 2020 after a two-year long battle with leukaemia. His daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni couldn't attend his funeral due to the COVID-19 lockdown. Sahni reached Mumbai from Delhi via road to support her mother during the tough times.
