Richa Chadha-Ali Fazal Postpone Their Wedding To 2021 Due To Covid-19 Crisis

Richa Chadha revealed in one of her interviews with a leading daily that, the pandemic is far from over and they are doing it in the interest of everyone. Read on.

One of the loved Bollywood couples, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal were all set to tie the knot in the month of April. Unfortunately, they had to postpone their marriage due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier, based on reports, the couple’s spokesperson revealed that the marriage was tentatively shifted to the later half of 2020 and that both Richa and Ali wanted everyone’s safety. But now, recently, in one of her interviews to a leading daily, the ‘Fukrey’ actress revealed that they will decide on a date early next year. The bride-to-be said that pragmatically pushing the wedding to next year is for the interest of everyone who wishes to attend it. “So, it is only pragmatic to push the wedding to the coming year in the interest of everyone who would wish to attend”, said Richa in her interview. When Ali Fazal was questioned about the wedding, he said that after everyone gets adapt to the new normal, the couple will decide a date. ‘The Mirzapur’ actor told, “Let’s see when we are able to accept the new normal, then, we will decide on a date, maybe early next year.”
The couple originally had the plan of hosting the celebrations in three cities. To this, the ‘3 Idiots’ actor was quoted saying, “We came up with that plan only so our relatives wouldn’t have to travel. We wanted to tackle each side in their own city.” Speaking on the work front, Ali Fazal will be next seen starring in an upcoming American mystery thriller film, ‘Death On The Nile’. This movie is based on Agatha Christie’s 1937 novel of the same name and is a follow-up to the movie ‘Murder On The Orient Express’. The ‘Fukrey’ actor will be portraying the character of Andrew Katchadourian. The Kenneth Branagh film is scheduled for release in the United States on 23rd October, 2020. On the other hand, Richa Chadha will be next seen starring in the lead role of ‘Madam Chief Minister’, a Subhash Kapoor film. The movie is loosely based on the life of the political figure ‘Mayawati’ and the actress will be portraying her on screen.
