New Delhi: In a recent development, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Rhea Chakraborty under various sections of The Narcotics Drugs And Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) as sufficient pieces of evidence have been found against her. The ‘Jalebi’ actress is likely to be taken to the Sion hospital for her COVID-19 test and then will be lodged at women’s lockup in the NCB. Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti hailed the development in her brother’s death case.

Taking to her Twitter, Shweta Singh Kirti wrote, “#GodIsWithUs”



Also, recently when Rhea Chakraborty lodged an FIR against the late actor’s sister Priyanka Singh and Dr. Tarun Kumar for having sent a bogus Medical Prescription, Shweta Singh said ‘nothing is gonna break us’. The actress mentioned in her FIR that SSR was depicted as an OPD patient in the prescription given by his sister when he was actually in Mumbai on June 8, 2020. The ‘Jalebi’ actress filed the complaint against Priyanka Singh under several sections pertaining to forgery, abetment to suicide and cheating on September 7 at Bandra Police Station.

Responding to Rhea’s FIR, Shweta Singh Kirti wrote, “Nothing’s gonna break us, definitely not this fake FIR! #SSRFamilyStandsStrong #UnitedForSSRJustice #WholeIndiaIsSSRFamily”

The ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor’s family lawyer Vikas Singh also reacted to the FIR and said that it is a violation of the Supreme Court order. Reportedly, the advocate further claimed that it is a ‘clear attempt to keep the Mumbai Police somehow alive in the case so that they can do some mischief and ensure that the family of Sushant does not get justice in this matter’. S

Other than Rhea Chakraborty, the NCB has also arrested her brother Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, Dipesh Sawant and a number of drug peddlers.
