REAL CLASH: Ileana D'Cruz suing the makers of 'Aankhen 2'?

New Delhi: Gone are the days when films were launched with great fanfare. Breaking this tradition, Amitabh Bachchan and Arshad Warsi were only present to announce the launch of 'Aankhen 2', which is the sequel to Aankhen. The makers also showed a video of Ileana to confirm that she was a part of the film but it took a shocking turn when Ileana’s manager came forward to say that she is not doing the film at all. According to DNA, Ileana was offered the film, she turned it down. So the announcement was made without her knowledge or permission. And the actress is not happy about this. An industry insider to DNA said, “For years now, people have stopped having lavish events to announce films. The only reason to have one is for the producer to rake in money. When a maker announces a film with a big star cast, he can impress investors to part with moolah. It’s just a money game, then whether the film gets made or not, the producer has got his hands on enough money.” The video was shown but she is not doing the film. This made Ileana furious and she is taking action against the makers.
