Ranveer truly deserves IIFA Best Actor award, says Deepika

New Delhi: Actress Deepika Padukone feels that Ranveer Singh truly deserves to win the Best Actor award for his outstanding performance in 'Bajirao Mastani' at 2016 IIFA (International Indian Film Academy). On being asked whom does she thought should win the award, the 30-year-old actress said, "Ranveer truly deserves to win the award. For an actor who has been around in the industry only for five years and has done only five or six films, for him to be able to pull off that performance is incredible. I don't think anyone could have done that better than him," while interacting with media at the green carpet event. Talking about her experience of working with Hollywood actor Vin Diesel in movie 'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage,' the 'Tamasha' actress said, "It was amazing and I think like I have always said, I think it is the experiences that make movies special and he (Vin Diesel) was a huge part of making the experience very special for me." "It can be very unnerving when you move into foreign land and work with new people in new environment, but Diesel was there with me on every step making sure that I was comfortable and making sure everything went up smoothly not just for me but for the entire team and he is one of the most generous human being's I have ever met" she added. Deepika also revealed that her next movie will go on floors in September, but refused to reveal the details about it.
