Prasanth Varma echoed these sentiments, highlighting Ranveer's unique energy and talent, and expressed optimism about a future collaboration: “Ranveer’s energy and talent is rare to find. We shall manifest our forces combining soon, sometime in the future.”

All the parties involved, including Mythri Movie Makers, agree that everyone's intentions were aligned to make it happen, but sometimes certain things just aren't meant to be at that moment.

Rumours around Rakshas

The speculation began when reports emerged that Ranveer Singh had a disagreement with the makers of Rakshas. There were rumours that the actor left the project abruptly after only three days of shooting. There were also reports that Ranveer was initially very enthusiastic about the project and had convinced Prasanth to prioritize Rakshas over another planned Telugu film.

According to Pinkvilla, Rakshas was envisioned as a period film set in the pre-Independence era with a mythological backdrop. The project has been put on hold for now.

Ranveer's upcoming projects

Ranveer Singh continues to have a busy schedule with several high-profile projects lined up. He will reprise his role as Simmba in Rohit Shetty's cop drama Singham Again, which boasts an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor. Additionally, Ranveer is set to star in Farhan Akhtar's Don 3, which is slated for release in 2025. The actor has yet to begin shooting for this highly anticipated film.
