Randeep Hooda Undergoes Surgery; 'Radhe' Actor's Father Says 'He Is Recovering, Will Be Discharged Soon'

Randeep Hooda health update: Actor's father Ranbir Hooda informed the fans that 'Radhe' star has tested negative for COVID-19.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda, known for his power-packed performances, underwent a surgery on Wednesday (August 26) in Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai. Randeep’s father Ranbir Hooda issued a statement and said that the ‘Baaghi 2’ actor is recovering and will be discharged soon. He added that the ‘Jism 2’ star has tested negative for COVID-19. Randeep’s father also said that his surgery went well and the family will be able to take him home soon. He thanked the well-wishers for their concern. “Thank you all for your concern. Randeep had a surgery yesterday; he’s recovering and will be discharged soon. He’s COVID 19 negative and the surgery went well so we will be able to take him home soon,” the statement said. Randeep Hooda was snapped outside the Mumbai hospital by the paparazzi on Wednesday. Soon, the reports of his surgery circulated on the internet. “The actor decided to undergo surgery after suffering unbearable pain due to old fracture’s wound,” a source told ABP News correspondent Ravi Jain. He took to Instagram to share a photo of his birthday gift along with caption, “Walk (or cycle) the talk .. Best birthday gift! #BeTheChange #RestartResponsibly #mothernature.” The actor can be seen posing with his bicycle in the photo. Check it out!
On the professional front, Randeep was last seen in Netflix's ‘Extraction’. The film co-starring Chris Hemsworth received mixed reviews upon its release in April 2020. The ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’ actor will be next seen in Salman Khan's ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. The movie was originally slated to hit the silver screens on Eid 2020. The Prabhu Deva directorial got delayed as the cinema halls were shut due to the COVID-19 crisis. According to reports, the makers of ‘Radhe’ will commence shoot for their next schedule from October 2020. Speculations are rife that they are now eyeing a 2021 release for ‘Radhe’.
