Ramayana First Look: Director Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of the Ramayana is garnering a lot of attention with fans eagerly awaiting details about the film. Shooting of the film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi is currently on. Leaked photos from the sets of the film give the first look of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. The images, obtained by Zoom TV, are now doing the rounds on social media.

The leaked images showcase Ranbir Kapoor adorned in regal attire embodying the role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi exudes grace and poise in her portrayal of Sita. This is for the first time that Ranbir and Sai are working on a project together.

Ranbir's preparation for the role
For the role, Ranbir has adhered to a strict vegetarian diet and rigorous workout regimen. Photos and videos of his preparation have been shared by his fitness trainer also.  

According to a report in India Today, he is undergoing voice and diction training to ensure a distinctive portrayal of the character. 

"Ranbir has a certain baritone and a way of speaking his lines. It is symbolic and if you have even closed your eyes, you can recognise a dialogue purely based on Ranbir’s voice. In ‘Ramayana’, Nitesh wants to make sure Ranbir sounds different from the characters he’s played in the past. Being a versatile actor, Ranbir is enjoying this process of trying something new," India Today quoted its source as saying. 

Other characters of the film
Earlier, photos of Arun Govil as King Dashrath and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi were also leaked from the sets of the film. 

There are also speculations that Bobby Deol will play Kumbhkaran, Vijay Sethupathi will essay the role of Vibhishana, and Sunny Deol will be seen as Hanuman. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this. 

Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ which was a blockbuster and the actor got rave reviews for his performance in the film.
