Rakhi Sawant denies the reports claiming she exchanged wedding vows with an NRI in a hotel room on Sunday

Rakhi Sawant's secret wedding reports took over the Internet on Monday noon after an entertainment portal claimed that the controversy-queen indeed got married in a hush-hush ceremony at a hotel with an NRI in the presence of small gathering of family members on 28th July. The report claimed that to keep it a secret, Rakhi exchanged wedding vows in the room of hotel JW Marriott of Mumbai instead of booking a whole hall. And while everyone wondered if it actually was true, Rakhi herself has cleared the air by posting pictures of herself dressed as a Christian bride but with the chooda and mehendi on too. Rakhi revealed it was all for a bridal photoshoot, captioning the pictures with- "bridel shooting". [swipe to view all pics:]

Rakhi Sawant is known as the drama queen and she has played around her with her marriage earlier too. Last year the news of Rakhi's wedding with Youtuber Deepak Kalal made headlines when the two announced they would tie the knot on New Year's. It was a publicity stunt, revealed later. However this time Rakhi did not deliberately do it, atleast she claims so. Rakhi told India Today over her latest marriage reports- "I was doing a bridal shoot at JW Marriott, I don't know why people are saying that I am married. Rakhi has been married before to a guy named Ashraf, as per reports. In 2007, various reports suggested that Rakhi Sawant secretly got married to Ashraf in 2004. Apparently, Ashraf had even financed the "Pardesia" music video that shot her to fame. Reportedly, Rakhi and Ashraf's marriage lasted only for 2-3 months as Ashraf was accused of fraud and was jailed. Later, Rakhi too found out that Ashraf was a married man and had a kid.
