Fans expressed their excitement on social media after veteran actor Rajinikanth received his second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Chennai: South superstar Rajinikanth took his second dose of COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday (May 13) at his home. The veteran actor’s daughter Soundarya shared a post on social media to inform the fans about the same. She encouraged her followers to wear a mask and stay at home to keep the deadly virus at bay.
“Our Thalaivar gets his vaccine. Let us fight and win this war against Corona virus together,” Soundary tweeted. The 2.0’ star can be seen looking straight into the camera in the picture. He sported a face mask as a precautionary measure against Coronavirus.

Meme makers had a field day as they shared several rib-tickling memes after the 70-year-old got vaccinated. When Rajini is in house, you can expect the unthinkable. One user tweeted, “We can see the end of Covid.”

This will motivate some of the fence sitters & nay sayers to get vaccinated. Vaccine the best weapon against pandemic.”
