Pooja Hegde Reacts To Dating Rumours With Salman Khan: 'What Do I Say To That? I Keep Reading Things About Me'

Pooja Hegde will next be seen opposite Salman Khan in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.’ The rumours of them dating have been doing the round for quite some time. Pooja has now reacted to these rumours.

New Delhi: Pooja Hegde will next be seen opposite Salman Khan in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.' It is a common trend to link the two actors working together, Salman and Pooja are no exception. The rumours of them dating have been doing the round for quite some time, and the speculations increased when Salman attended her brother’s wedding reception. Pooja has now reacted to these dating rumours. 

The actor spoke to ETimes and clarified that they are not in any relationship. She told ETimes, “What do I say to that? I keep reading things about me. I am single. I love being single. I am genuinely concentrating on my career right now. I am hoping from one city to the other city, that’s my goal right now. I can’t even sit and address these rumours anymore because what do I do now?”  

In ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, Hegde plays Bhagyalaxmi, a fun and free-spirited woman. Though the film's trailer has garnered more than 41 million views on Youtube since its release on April 10th, a section of internet users trolled it for its over-the-top action and hard-to-digest sequences.  
  
Soon after the film's trailer was released, some people started brutally trolling the trailer as they felt that it was "cringe," "far from reality" and had "loose editing."   

Pooja shared what she feels about the trolling that the film’s trailer got.  
  
"It's okay if some people don't like the trailer. It's not possible to keep everyone happy. Films are very subjective, if some people like it, a section of the audience may not like it as well and rightly so. We all have the right to like or dislike something,” Pooja told IANS.  
  
But, she mentioned that she would like people to give the film a chance and assured that it will entertain them.  
  
"However, I hope that their perception changes once they see the film. I can promise that you will have a good time in theatres watching the film," she told IANS.   

Pooja began her cinema journey with the 2012 Tamil film ‘Mugamoodi’[and followed it up with releases in Telugu with ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ and in Hindi with ‘Mohenjo Daro’, in 2014 and 2016 respectively.  

'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', produced by Salman Khan Films, stars an ensemble cast of Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Palak Tiwari, Siddharth Nigam and Shehnaaz Gill. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film will release on April 21 on Eid.
