The duo is currently shooting in Sapporo, Japan, amidst the beautiful snow festival. The photo gives a glimpse of Junaid's look for the film, with Sai Pallavi as the leading lady. They are set to portray romantic roles in this yet-to-be-titled movie.
Aamir Khan Productions is producing the film, which initially faced challenges due to unexpected snowfall. However, the production is now smoothly progressing after overcoming these hurdles.
It is the first time that Sapporo has been captured in such an enthralling way on the big screens.
The shooting for this love story began on December 1. The film is set in the city of Sapporo in Japan and the film team had undergone a recce a couple of months ago, exploring the picturesque landscapes and unique cultural experiences. The first schedule was shot in Mumbai, and the team is now capturing the winter scenes in Sapporo.
A source close to the film told IANS, “The team saw the famous Snow Festival during their recce, which will also feature in the film as it will see the city of Sapporo set in the winter, and the team absolutely loved it. They were so thrilled by the picturesque landscapes and the unique cultural experience”.
Meanwhile, Junaid will his film debut with the upcoming film 'Maharaj', directed by Siddharth P Malhotra. The budding actor is stepping into the world of cinema with promising projects, raising anticipation among fans for his on-screen debut.
Sai Pallavi was last seen in the Telugu film 'Virata Parvam' and the Tamil film 'Gargi'. Sai, who has primarily worked in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films, will be seen in Hindi films for the first time.
