Omung Kumar signs TV actor Sidhant Gupta for 'Bhoomi'; to romance Aditi Rao Hydari in the film!

Mumbai: Filmmaker Omung Kumar has signed TV actor Sidhant Gupta for his upcoming film "Bhoomi", which marks actor Sanjay Dutt's comeback.

Sidhant, who is making his Bollywood debut with the film, is mainly known for his role as Kunj Sarna in the television show "Tashan-e-Ishq".

The film is a revenge drama, which marks Sanjay's return to filmdom after he completed his term in in Yerwada Jail for illegal possession of arms. "Bhoomi", which delves into a father-daughter relationship, will see Sanjay in the role of a father, while Aditi will play his daughter. Sanjay Dutt begins shooting for ‘Bhoomi’ in Agra! The project is co-produced by T-Series and Legend Studios and it is slated to release on August 4. IANS
