Veteran actress Neetu Singh is forming a close bond with Alia Bhatt’s cat Edward while she is busy enjoying a vacation with Ranbir Kapoor in Maldives. Ranbir’s mom has become good friends with his ladylove’s pet cat. No, we are not saying so. The ‘Kabhi Kabhi’ actress shared a picture of her new friend on Instagram stories, revealing how their friendship started. 

Neetu wrote, “My new friend Edward. Friendship that started with a wink." Her little furry friend looked as cute as button in the photo.

Neetu, her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni celebrated New Year with Alia’s family members in Ranthambore. Interestingly, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh also opted to ring in New Year at the same place.

Alia Bhatt, who recently recovered from COVID-19, jetted off to Maldives with her beau Ranbir Kapoor after the Maharashtra government imposed strict restrictions to combat the further spread of the deadly virus. The couple received flak on social media for traveling out of India at a time when the country is grappling with the Coronavirus crisis. 

On the professional front, Alia and Ranbir will be seen together for the first time on the big screen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. The movie co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy has been delayed several times. 

The ‘Gully Boy’ actress will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, which is slated to hit the cinema halls on July 30, 2021. The teaser of the highly anticipated flick received a good response from the audience. She also has SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ in her kitty. 

Talking about Neetu Kapoor, the actress will make her return to the silver screen with Raj Mehta’s ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. The comedy drama also stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor in key roles. 

Neetu tested positive for COVID-19 while she was shooting for her upcoming film in Chandigarh.
