'Ghoomketu’ TRAILER: Nawazuddin Siddiqui's QUIRKY Comedy Is Here To Tickle Your Funny Bone

Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘Ghoomketu’, which releases on May 22, promises to make you laugh uncontrollably.

New Delhi: The month of May has been nothing less than a treat with new releases back to back on ZEE5 and the one just around the corner is 'Ghoomketu'. The stellar star cast includes Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Ghoomketu, Anurag Kashyap as a cop, Ila Arun as Ghoomketu's Aunt, Raghubir Yadav as his father, Swanand Kirkire, Ragini Khanna in lead roles. Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Chitrangada Singh, Lauren Gottlieb and filmmaker Nikhil Advani will be seen in special cameos in the film. Written and Directed by Pushpendra Nath Misra and produced by Phantom Films and Sony Pictures Networks (SPN), this film will be exclusively releasing on ZEE5 on May 22. The most awaited trailer of the film is finally out now. Interestingly, the makers chose to release the trailer on Nawazuddin's birthday. The trailer starts with how Ghoomketu (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is narrating the plot of one of his scripts (horror genre) to Santo Bua (Ila Arun), but fails to impress her. Fast forward to Mumbai, where Ghoomketu is meeting various people in the industry with his work, but receives no encouragement at all. Dadda (Raghubir Yadav) is seen expressing his disapproval in Ghoomketu becoming a writer. Now the focus changes on the corrupt cop (Anurag Kashyap) who is in search of Ghoomketu, and in the same moment Ghoomketu realises that he has only 30 days to prove himself as a successful writer. The twist to the plot is that both Ghoomketu and Inspector Badlani have been neighbours all this while and they do not realise it! The trailer also shows a snippet of Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha doing a scene of a blockbuster romantic film in a comical way. You will also see a glimpse of megastar Amitabh Bachchan and the gorgeous Chitrangada Singh in the trailer. What follows is all about confusion, dodging all the odds and winning.
