On the occasion of National Cancer Day, Madhuri Dixit revealed that her son Ryan donated his hair to the Cancer Society.
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is a proud momma as her son Ryan has donated his hair for a noble cause. The ‘Devdas’ star took to social media to share a post on the occasion of National Cancer Day and inform her followers about her son’s deed. She revealed that Ryan was heartbroken after seeing cancer patients, who lose their hair during the chemotherapy sessions.
Madhuri said that she and her husband Dr. Nene were ‘thrilled’ with their son’s decision to donate his hair to the Cancer Society. She penned a heartfelt post on her official Instagram handle while posting the video wherein her son can be seen getting a haircut.
B-town's Dhak-Dhak girl wrote, “NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES….. But mine did. On the occasion of National Cancer Day, I would like to share something really special. Ryan felt heartbroken seeing several folks who were undergoing chemo for cancer. With everything they go through, they lose their hair. My son took a call of donating his hair to the Cancer Society. We as parents were thrilled with his decision.”
Dixit also revealed that it took Arin almost two years to grow the required length of the hair. She wrote, “As per guidelines, it took him almost 2 years to grow the required length of hair. And this was the final step. Here we are today standing proud. @drneneofficial.”
