'Mumbai Saga' Trailer: John Abraham & Emraan Hashmi's Gangster Drama Promises High-Octane Action

Mumbai Saga trailer: Sanjay Gupta's film starring John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi will focus on the cat-and-mouse chase between a gangster and a cop.

The makers of John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Mumbai Saga’ have finally unveiled the film’s trailer on Friday (February 26). The action crime movie, which is set in 80s and 90s, promises to keep the audience on the edge of their seats with its interesting story and power-packed performances of the cast. The much-awaited flick features high-octane action sequences which will definitely leave the movie buffs mighty impressed.

The trailer gave us a glimpse of John Abraham’s character Amartya Rao, who has no qualms in killing others. Rao is merciless, who ‘rises from the streets and rules the city of Mumbai. Emraan Hashmi plays the role of a tough police officer, who locks horns with Rao and battles him on the streets of Mumbai.

Both John and Emraan managed to impress with their acting prowess in the three-minute trailer. Emraan, who has earlier played similar roles, stole the limelight with his dialogue- ‘Sawal hai ye nahi hai ki Amartya marega, sawal yeh hai ke Rs 10 crore ka main karunga kya ( Whether Amartya will die or not is not the question to ask, what I will do after getting the Rs 10 crore bounty is something to think about.)

The cat-and-mouse chase will definitely keep the audience engaged with the film. It remains to be seen if ‘Mumbai Saga’ is able to attract the movie buffs to the cinema halls or not. John shared the trailer of ‘Mumbai Saga’ along with the caption, “Bandook Toh Sirf Shauk Ke Liye Rakhta Hoon, Darrane Ke Liye Naam Hi Kaafi Hai - Amartya Rao! Presenting the trailer of Saga of the year.”

‘Mumbai Saga’ will hit the silver screens on March 19, 2021. It will clash with Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ at the box office. It was originally slated to release in June 2020; however, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis.

‘Mumbai Saga’ also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Samir Soni and Rohit Roy in pivotal roles. The highly anticipated flick has been directed by Sanjay Gupta.
