Mumbai: Actress Mrunal Thakur forayed into mainstream Bollywood movies starring opposite Hrithik Roshan in the 2019 movie ‘Super 30’. The actress who is gradually making her name in the industry has earlier worked in several Television shows. Mrunal gained recognition for her role as Bulbul in the daily soap ‘Kumkum Bhagya’.

Mrunal will be next seen featuring in a yet-untitled movie opposite Dulquer Salmaan. She shared the first look from her upcoming movie and also revealed the name of her character in the film on the occasion of her birthday today (August 1).

Mrunal shared a still of herself from the movie where Dulquer can be spotted in the mirror seen clicking her picture. While sharing, the ‘Toofan’ actress wrote, “Here’s a gift from me to you on my special day! Thank you @swapnacinema for this! Here to conquer your hearts with the lovely @dqsalmaan!”

Dulquer also shared the first look of Mrunal Thakur and wrote, “Proud to Introduce @mrunalthakur as Sita Happy birthday Sita garu !!! ..You are gonna conquer hearts !! It’s been a joy and such a blast shooting with you ! Hope you have the most special and wonderful birthday and an even better year !”.

In this upcoming movie helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi, this upcoming untitled movie has been reportedly set in 1964. Dulquer Salmaan’s character is called Lieutenant Ram, Mrunal's character has been introduced as Sita in the movie.

Meanwhile, the ‘Love Sonia’ actress has appeared in movies including ‘Super 30’, ‘Batla House’, ‘Ghost Stories’ and others.

Mrunal Thakur was recently seen starring opposite Farhan Akhtar in the sports drama ‘Toofan’. She will be next seen starring opposite Shahid Kapoor in ‘Jersey’ and ‘Aankh Micholi’.
