Vinta Nanda REACTS to Rajkumar Hirani’s #MeToo allegations; Says, ‘Who is it that women can trust?'
New Delhi: Fans and Hindi film fraternity were shocked when filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani was accused of sexual harassment by a woman who worked in his blockbuster film ‘Sanju’ as an assistant director. The ‘PK’ director has denied all the allegations against him by issuing a statement. Soon after the news circulated on the internet, TV writer-director Vinta Nanda took to Twitter to react on the same.

Vinta, who had accused veteran actor Alok Nath of raping her in a gut-wrenching post, expressed her shock.
"The latest on #MeToo is so disturbing. Who is it that women can trust? Can't deal with these words anymore- "At the outset, our client states that the allegations made against him are false, mischievous, scandalous, motivated and defamatory,’’ the ‘Tara’ writer wrote on the micro-blogging site.

According to Huffington Post India, the victim sent an email to Sanju's co-producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and his wife Anupama Chopra mentioning the details of the harassment she faced at the hands of Hirani. The complainant said that the 'Munna Bhai M.B.B.S' director first passed a sexually suggestive remark on April 9, 2018 and later sexually assaulted her at his home office.
