#MeToo: 'Tara' Producer-writer Vinta Nanda confirms that Alok Nath was the 'sanskaari' man who raped her!
Ever since 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' actress Tanushree Dutta has opened-up about being sexually harassed by Nana Patekar on the sets of 2008 film 'Horn OK Please', several others survivors too are sharing their #MeToo stories on social media. Yesterday Vinta Nanda, the producer-writer of various hit shows of 90’s, shared her sexual harassment story & revealed that a lead actor from one of her popular shows raped her almost two decades ago. She didn't revealed the actor's name in the post but mentioned that he is the 'most sanskaari person in the film and television industry' which hinted that she was talking about veteran actor Alok Nath.

And now, Vinta has confirmed that the 'sanskaari person' is none other than Alok Nath who is known for playing roles of stereotypical Indian father for whom religious traditions and moral values are most-important.

Confirming the same to IANS via SMS, Nanda said: "It is Alok Nath. I thought saying 'sanskaari' would do the needful."

Tanushree Dutta’s revelations have sparked quite a campaign with women accusing several prominent personalities including known names like 'Queen' director Vikas Bahl, Rajat Kapoor, singer Kailash Kher, AIB comedians Utsav Chakraborty, Gursimran Khamba among others.
