#MeToo: Farah Khan REACTS to Sajid Khan's sexual harassment allegations, says she is 'Heartbroken'

The #MeToo movement in India has finally gained momentum and the survivors are now naming the perpetrators of sexual assault through social media. ‘Humshakals’ director Sajid Khan has been accused of sexual harassment by three different women, including two actresses and a female journalist. Sajid Khan’s sister Farah Khan Kunder has issued a statement on the allegations against him. She said that she won’t endorse this kind of behaviour and she stands in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt. ‘’This is a heartbreaking time for my family.We have to work through some very difficult issues. If my brother has behaved in this manner he has a lot to atone for.I don’t in any way endorse this behavior and Stand in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt,’’ Farah wrote on Twitter. Farah and Sajid’s first cousin Farhan Akhtar also reacted to sexual harassment allegations against Sajid. The ‘Rock On’ actor said that he is shocked and disappointed to read stories about Sajid’s behaviour. Sajid Khan, who was directing Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Housefull 4’, has backed out of the film as the director. Akshay Kumar informed on Twitter that he has requested the makers of the film to cancel the shooting until further investigation. Several other Bollywood biggies like Vikas Bahl, Subhash Ghai, Luv Ranjan have been accused of sexual misconduct. Watch this space for more updates!
