Featuring Vishal Jethwa as antagonist, 'Mardaani 2' has done strong business in the first weekend by collecting Rs. 18.15 crore. After a successful opening, 'Mardaani' actress Rani Mukerji visited the famous Shirdi temple to see blessings from Sai Baba. Rani Mukerji visits Shirdi frequently to offer prayers and this time she thanked Sai Baba for the sucess of 'Mardaani 2'. After her temple visit, she also attended a panel discussion on ways to end violence against women. On a related note, Rani's latest release 'Mardaani 2' is the sequel to her 2014 hit film 'Mardaani'. In the sequel, Rani Mukerji is seen reprising her role of the fierce lady cop Shivani Shivaji Roy. The film's story revolves around a serial rapist who also murder girls and Rani has got an amazing response for her performance.
