Kriti Kharbanda On Her Coronavirus Scare: 'I Was Paranoid For First Three Days, Then I..'
Kriti Kharbanda said that she thought she contracted Coronavirus after returning back to Mumbai in an international flight.
New Delhi: The deadly Coronavirus has wreaked havoc all over the world, claiming several lives. People are taking precautionary measures and following social distancing to keep COVID-19 at bay. Bollywood actress Kriti Kharbanda, last seen in ‘Pagalpanti’, has been under quarantine since the past one month. The talented actress, while talking to a leading daily, said that she felt she contracted Coronavirus after she returned back to Mumbai from a party.
Kriti said that she was paranoid for the first three days after she attended her beau Pulkit Samrat’s brother’s engagement party in Delhi. She added that she was down with cold and cough after she returned to Mumbai on an international flight.
The ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ actress further said that she couldn’t get herself tested because the test kits for COVID-19 were not available in India back then.
“I thought it best not to mingle given the symptoms. I was terrified I had contracted the virus but since test kits were not available in the country back then and I did not have a fever, the doctors advised me to distance myself and monitor my symptoms. I was paranoid for the first three days, then, I started to feel better,” Kriti told Mumbai Mirror.
Kriti Kharbana, who made her relationship with Pulkit Samrat official last year, is spending quality time with her boyfriend. She said that the ‘Fukrey’ actor has moved into her building and they are playing board games to kill time.
“We had decided to stay in the same building to dodge traffic, but now, I am grateful to have him with me. I can’t imagine how other couples who don’t stay together are dealing with the lockdown,” the 'Housefull 4' actress told the daily.
On the professional front, Kriti will be next seen in 'Taish' co-starring Pulkit Samrat, Jim Sarbh & Harshvardhan Rane.
